In order to improve photometric quality the Catalina photometry the data release now makes use of the of the FramecatCSS magoff parameter in combination with the MasterFrame Magoffset parameter.

In essence this means that the Master catalog magnitudes are now calibrate to V. The median offset for between the master catalog stars observed in the individual frames is now subtracted. The reduction in scatter is typically 0.02-0.03 magnitudes.

At mag 14 and above this correction reduces the photometric scatter to 0.02 magnitudes, at mag 17 and fainter this has little effect (apart from in fields with significant systematic effects).
